Mummy Sausage Rolls

This year for Halloween why not try our Mummy sausage rolls? This recipe uses full-sized sausages, but you could also make these with cocktail sausages.

Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry

10 pre-cooked sausages

Mustard or relish for eyes

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180o C.
  2. Lightly flour a work surface and roll out puff pastry. Use a pizza or pastry cutter to slice the pastry into 1cm strips. Wrap the strips around the sausages so they resemble mummies.
  3. Place mummy sausage rolls on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add eyes to the mummies using relish or mustard. Serve with ketchup or another sauce of your choosing for dipping.
