Dr Ivan Crnkovic
Lead Dentist
Dr Crnkovic graduated from the University of Sydney in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Dentistry.
Dr Mandy Zheng
Dentist
With a dedicated approach and caring personality, Dr Mandy Zheng values her patients’ experience as well as their outcomes. Since graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, one of Australia’s most prestigious dental schools, Dr Mandy Zheng has gained continuous private practice experience since joining Apple Dental in 2002.
Dr Hiba Amin
Dentist
With multiple accreditations, Dr Hiba Amin completed her Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in London before relocating to Sydney, Australia.
Jesse Labuguen
Oral Health Therapist
Jesse qualified as an Oral Health Therapist in 2011 from Sydney University, and has periodically worked in both cosmetic practices and private practices. Completing postgraduate studies at the University of Melbourne, he has worked at private cosmetic practices in South Yarra, Victoria and Double Bay, Sydney.
Dr Leela Pulavorty
Dentist
Dr Leela Pulavorty, a seasoned dentist with over 20 years of experience, graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2001. Since relocating to Australia, she completed her accreditation with the Australian Dental Council.
Dr Tarek Abasseri
Dentist
Dr Tarek undertook his dental studies at the University of Adelaide and graduated as Dux with High Distinction and First Class Honours. During his studies, he won numerous awards including the prestigious University Medal Moore Medallion, the Australian Dental Association Prize, Dean’s Certificate of Merit, Sir Joseph Verco Memorial Prize, Australian Society of Orthodontists Prize, Lottie & Aileen Connon Scholarship, Malcolm Joyner Prize, and the Henry Schein Halas Prize.
Brittany West
Oral Health Therapist
Brittany is a qualified Oral Health Therapist who conducted her studies at the University of Newcastle. She is passionate about oral health care with a strong focus of preventive dentistry.
Dr Cannelle Meunier
Dentist
Dr Cannelle Meunier graduated in 2017 from the Faculty of Dentistry in Nice, France, and settled in Australia soon after. Her background is enriched by having lived in Tahiti, Brazil, France, and Australia. She is fluent in both English and French.
Dr Catreen Abbas
Dentist
Dr Catreen Abbas earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012 and has since developed a strong passion for implant dentistry. Since 2017, she has pursued advanced studies in this area, culminating in a recent residency in Dental Implantology with the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Abbas is committed to lifelong learning and is dedicated to expanding her expertise in this field.

Aleica Green
Practice Manager
Aleica grew up on the Central Coast, but has lived locally since 2002. She began her journey in the dental industry working as a dental assistant for 13 years before joining the reception team in 2014. Aleica is an integral part of the team and an asset to our practice. After returning from maternity leave in 2022 Aleica transitioned into the role of practice manager. As for many of us here, fitness is important to Aleica. In her spare time, you will find her on a tennis court, playing AFL 9’s or signing herself up for a running event. Most recently completing her second half marathon. Aleica loves to travel, but thankfully she always comes back to us here at Lane Cove.
Janelle Hanna
Front office coordinator
Janelle grew up in Sydney and now lives in the Sutherland shire. She is one of our long standing front office coordinators here at Apple Dental and loves greeting patients with a smile. Janelle has worked at Apple Dental since 2002, originally as a Dental Assistant before joining our front office team in 2004. While she enjoys working as part of such a friendly and supportive team, Janelles love for reception is always the interaction she has with our patients, many of whom she has known for 20+ years. She has built a close rapport with many. Janelle is the mother of 2 children and loves spending time with her family on weekends, usually something on or near the water. Large parts of her time are spent in Gerringong at her family holiday home.
Darshana Khade
2IC
After graduating from Mumbai University with a Bachelor of Science, Darshana moved to one of her favourite cities in Australia, Sydney. She pursued her masters in health services management and later completed her diploma in allied health nursing. During this time, she was exposed to various phases of the healthcare industry, such as dentistry, physiotherapy, occupational health and psychology. She’s been in dentistry for 4 years, but has incredible experience in all areas. She moved to regional Australia, Dubbo for 6 months and enjoyed working there. Darshana also enjoys trying different cuisines, practices karate, yoga, hiking, volley ball and loves to do weight training. She also loves to spend time with her dog, being around friends and family.
Gemma Ashby
Dental Assistant
Gemma grew up in Lane Cove and loves being a part of the Apple Dental team because she gets the chance to speak to, and get to know, people in the local community. With a passion for the dental industry, Gemma recently graduated from the Dental Hospital in New South Wales and is especially interested in restorative dentistry and complex dentistry. Working with our dentists, she strives to make every dental experience a happy one, and is very good at helping even the most nervous patients feel calm and comfortable.
Julie Keyrouz
Dental Assistant
Originally from Ukraine, Julie graduated from the Dental Hospital in New South Wales in 2012 and she has lived locally since graduating. Julie is particularly interested in surgical procedures, tooth removals and in IV sedation, and understands that people often feel a little anxious when visiting the dentist. She is especially good at helping to reassure people, so they can relax more easily knowing they are in good hands. Away from dentistry, Julie loves spending time with her little girl and she is an active member of our community here in Lane Cove. Julie can speak 4 languages fluently; English, Romanian, Russian and Spanish.
Mhairi Brannigan
Dental Assistant
Mhairi grew up in Scotland but has been enjoying our beautiful weather and beaches since 2009. She has been a valued member of our team since 2015. As a member of the Dental Assistants Professional Association, Mhairi is very experienced at helping people feel comfortable in the dental chair and ensuring every visit is as pleasant as possible. Like everyone here at Apple Dental, Mhairi is passionate about great dental health and keeping fit is very important to her. Her other hobbies include sports, entertaining and taking part in local and national fun runs.
Katrina Yilmaz
Clinical Coordinator
Katrina grew up in Sydney and has been with Apple Dental since 2007. Katrina’s experience and skills are invaluable for ensuring patients always feel comfortable and cared for during treatment. Katrina is a pivotal member of the team, working her way up to senior Dental Assistant to most recently being appointed our Clinical Coordinator. When Kat is not at Apple Dental she loves to visit the gym regularly and play tennis at any chance.
Anna Wu
Dental Assistant
Anna grew up in Willoughby, Sydney, where she attended Willoughby Girls High School. After completing a degree in medical science, she is now currently studying architecture at the University of Technology Sydney. Since 2017, she’s been a dental assistant, driven by her passion to provide patients with the best possible care. The Lane Cove community has always been close to her heart, and being able to give back means everything to her. In Anna’s free time, she likes to stay active by playing social oztag at Blackmans Park and training jiu-jitsu multiple times a week. During her holidays, she enjoys travelling and learning about other cultures.
Tyler Ward
Dental Assistant
Tyler grew up in Sydney and joined Apple Dental back in 2020 as a casual Dental Assistant but is now a full time member of our Apple Family. She has been working in the dental industry as a Dental Assistant & receptionist since 2015. With experience in general dentistry including implants, Cerec (same day crowns) & orthodontics as well as admin duties, she has a range of knowledge & experience to offer to the team. Tyler lives with her fiancé & two rabbits in which she loves to discuss anything rabbit related. In her spare time she loves to try new places for cuisines, experiment with cooking, walks in the sun and catching up with loved ones.
Mili Sinha
Dental Assistant
Mili grew up in India, but migrated to Sydney in 2018 and chose the Lower North Shore, Sydney to reside with her family. Mili holds a Graduate Degree, and has a passion for caring. Mili joined the Dental industry in 2020 as Dental Assistant and joined Apple Dental in 2022. When not assisting the Dentists, Mili Likes to play Tennis to stay fit. Mili loves shopping and traveling, and has a passion for Baking and Cooking. Mili can speak English and Hindi.
