ad-aug-2A beautiful white smile has been shown to improve self esteem and confidence. The good news these days is that it has never been easier to achieve. At Apple Dental we carefully assess each patient’s suitability for whitening treatments before proceeding – our priority is to ensure that the treatment is suitable, safe and comfortable and provides the patient with the correct outcome. A thorough examination of your teeth and gums will be carried out before we provide you with the best options for treatment.

Whitening in the dental chair vs. whitening at home

Once you have decided to whiten your teeth you can either have the treatment completed in our surgery or you can take home a fully-customised whitening kit.

At Apple Dental we are happy to offer you a one-hour teeth whitening treatment in our practice. This treatment uses a special light to activate the whitening gel on your teeth, helping it to penetrate your teeth more easily and lifting the overall colour of your teeth by several shades in a short period of time.

If you choose to take home a fully-customised whitening kit, we will provide you with a custom-made whitening tray that fits snuggly over your teeth, along with the appropriate whitening gel and thorough instructions on how to use the kit. You simply place a small portion of the gel in the whitening tray and leave it in overnight. This treatment should be carried out over two weeks, however you will notice a difference within a few days.

Once you have a nice bright smile we can offer you advice and information on how to maintain it, and how to ensure your results last as long as possible.
