This festive recipe tastes wonderfully decadent and is the perfect holiday treat.
½ cup shredded coconut
½ cup unsalted raw macadamias
½ mashed avocado
½ cup milk powder
¼ cup cacao powder
4 ½ tbsp rice malt syrup
Finely grated zest from two oranges
- In a food processor, pulse the macadamias until coarsely chopped.
- Mix macadamias, cacao powder, rice malt syrup, coconut, milk powder, avocado and zest, before refrigerating for half an hour.
- Using your hands, roll cooled mixture into truffle-sized balls.
- Use a little extra cacao powder to coat each ball, rolling it evenly in the powder. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
